There are many sounds on this album and much of which we had no particular vision for. The title track and album name "Your Way Through a Bag" was an early piece that revealed more and more as the album grew larger, perhaps also the most profound too.

The "Bag" started on my end of the computer in Austin with a heavy improvised drone fuzz piece. After handing it off to Justin W at his end of the computer in Binghamton he added a perfect accompaniment clean guitar line with a mood that echoed the exact life feeling for him and in different ways I too at the time. The vocal line was the cherry on top with its serenity new with decay and in repose and simplicity. I could write something similar about all the 39 tracks on the album but this track in particular echoed and always asserted itself as the truth.

So what started with myself alone and unknowing Wheaton filled in and it was done. It was the only song on the album that was in form so quickly requiring no questions going forward. It was the first song completed for the album.

The name arose after it was completed and really seemed to perfectly capture the essence. "Your Way Through a Bag," not to be confused with obvious inebriation but more or so to be slowly soaring through the soft enclosure being careful to not hit the walls and therefore you never knew that you were surrounded by this, though you are limited in space by it. Stay steady and find the opening. It will open. This dark soft cave is okay as long as there is breath and even the minutest map.
